Indian and Tibetan Activists Detained in Delhi for Protesting at Chinese Embassy

A security guard tries to stop a member of the Friends of Tibet as he protests against the ongoing detention of Gendun Cheokyi Nyima or the Panchen Lama recognized by the present Dalai Lama, outside the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi, Monday. Panchen Lama, the second most important figure after the Dalai Lama in the Tibetan Buddhist hierarchy, has been under house arrest with his family in China since 1995, according to the government-in-exile. Panchen Lama hasn't been seen in public since then, and Chinese officials refuse to say where he is. (AP Photo/Saurabh Das)
