Tibetan Refugee Community in Nepal

In the past few years, Nepal has been engulfed in political and economic upheaval. As both a neighbor to Tibet and nowadays home to the largest Tibetan refugees community after India, Nepal's political turbulence deeply impacts Tibetan societies both inside and outside of Tibet. This week's Tibetan TV call-in show will host two Tibetans who have been dealing with the Nepalese government for many years on behalf of the Tibetan community in Nepal to discuss the current situation. Mr. Tsering Topgyal, the Tibetan government-in-exile's joint secretary of home department, and Mr. Wangchuk Tsering, former representative the Dalai lama in Nepal, will discuss the impact of the crisis in Nepal on the Tibetan community and Tibetan politics more broadly.
