It is World Cup season and Tibetans both inside and outside of Tibet have been glued to their televisions. The game has always had a passionate
following among Tibetans since it was introduced to Tibet 1940s. This
year the Tibetan National Football Team--a team comprised of players from
Tibetan communities around the world--played in FIFI World Cup, the alternative world cup of Association Football run by FIFI in Hamburg, Germany. This week's Tibetan TV will invite the team coach Kalsang Dondrup and top player Sonam Dorjee to discuss their matches in Germany months ago and the 2006 World Cup.
