Talk to VOA: Spanish Court Hears Testimony Accusing China of Crimes Against Tibetans

Last week a Spanish national court began to hear the testimony of the first Tibetan witness for the lawsuit of genocide against China. The case was submitted by the Casa del Tibet Foundation of Barcelona and was accepted by the court in January 2006. This is first time a national court has accepted a hearing on such a case. This week's Tibetan TV call-in show will talk to Ven. Thubten Wangchen, the first witness in the case, and Tenzin Chokey, a student of international law who participated in the initial research work for the case.
