Means and Methods of Improving Tibetan Youths’ Educational Standard

Harvard University educated Mr. Ngawang Dorjee was the former Principal of the Bangalore based Dalai Lama Institute of Higher Studies, and the former Education Direction and Principal of the Tibetan Children’s Village (TCV) School, Dharamsala. Dorjee joined TCV following his graduation from college in 1972 and worked initially as teacher and then went on to become the school’s Headmaster, Principal, and the Education Director. On this week’s Table Talk, we discuss his over 40 years of work in the field of education and more importantly, the various ways teachers, parents, and students can improve children's educational standard and academic prospect.
