The Gyutoe monastery in Dharamsala, North India performed a special fire prayer called 'Changkar Chenmo' on the evening of February 14, where nearly a thousand people gathered to witness the ritual performance.
Jado Rinpoche, Abbot of the monastery speaks to VOA's Dharamsala based reporter Tenzin Sangmo on the significance of this ritual, and the reasons behind holding the same puja on the 19th day of ninth lunar month.
