First Woman To Head Former Political Prisoner Group

The Dharamsala based freedom organization Gu-chu-sum, formed by ex-political prisoners from Tibet held its seventh general body meeting and board elections this week. Gu-chu-sum’s new president is Namgyal Dolkar Lhagyari, a current member of the Exile Tibetan Parliament and the first woman to head the Tibetan freedom movement group.
