The Human Rights Network for Tibet and Taiwan, a coalition of various human rights NGOs based in Taiwan, held its first press conference at the Lhakpa Tsering hall of Upper Tibetan Children's Village School to announce its collaboration with the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile on September 5, 2016.

Tashi Tsering, Vice President of the Network said that the goal of their first project is to strengthen the Tibetan education system in exile schools, and that they hope to build a strong relation between the parliamentarians of the two countries.

The delegations, which consisted of two legislators, Freddy Lim and Kolas Yotaka, shared their work behind the welfare of the Tibetans in Taiwan and their efforts in setting up a Taiwan Parliamentarian group for Tibet and a visit by the Dalai Lama.
