Three Executive members of the Tibetan Youth Congress who were on indefinite hunger strike in Delhi since September 10, met with the Deputy Head of the UN Information Center, Mr. R.K. Sharma and submitted a memorandum urging the UN to respond to their five-point demand.

Meanwhile, more than 200 people took a peace march in support of the indefinite hunger strikers from Khan Market to the UN Office in Delhi.

The health of the three executive members are said to be deteriorating, and especially that of Information & International Relations Secretary Ms. Tsewang Dolma, but they have decided to continue the movement.

"We will continue until we receive a positive response from the UN," says Tenzing Jigme, President of the Tibetan Youth Congress.
