Three central executive members of the Tibetan Youth Congress (TYC) began an indefinite hunger strike at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on September 10, 2015.
"With three main objectives and five demands to the United Nations, we have organized this hunger strike: to create awareness about the critical situation in Tibet; to support the demands and aspirations of the self-immolators; and to show solidarity with Tibetans inside Tibet," says Tenzin Jigme, the president of TYC.
Vice President Mr. Tamdin Hrichoe, Information and International Relations Secretary Ms. Tsewang Dolma, and Finance Secretary Mr. Tenzin Wangchuk are the three TYC executive members who are on hunger strike.
