Dharma Activities for Victims of Earthquake and other Calamities

Interview with Geshe Ngawang Trinley, Resident Teacher, Kurukulla Center, MA, where the city’s mayor too joined in their mass prayer for the victims of Nepal Earthquake. Geshe Trinley said that Buddhists believe that the various prayers and Dharma rituals, done extensively and for 49 days following death, help the dead as well as the living. Geshe Trinley’s Center has, besides praying, organized ways to donate to those affected by the recent massive earthquake in Nepal.
