The Foreign Correspondents’ Club of South Asia and Students for a Free Tibet Delhi organized a book launch of 'Meltdown in Tibet' by Michael Buckley at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club Of South Asia, New Delhi, India on January 8, 2014.

'Meltdown in Tibet' is a startling expose of environmental destruction on the Tibetan plateau. “Through building of megadams, extensive mining, and through grassland degradation. This has severe impact not only in Tibet but far beyond--into India and a dozen other nations that lie downstream on Tibet’s mighty rivers,” says Michael Buckley while introducing the film and the book.

The Canadian writer and environmentalist Michael Buckley has long been involved in researches on Tibet, and is the author of a number of books on Tibet.
