Interview with Chemi Dolkar from Connecticut and Tenzin Dechen from Washington, D.C. Dolkar has put in the effort to encourage and recruit youths like her who are eager to learn or brush their skills in Tibetan language: speaking, reading, and writing. Within the last three years since she took the initiative to start her program, it has been participated by about 20 young people from the United States, Italy, Australia, and India. The program takes place every Saturday morning, online with the latest apps, with their teacher based in New York. Tenzin Dechen is one such participant. He said that he learned about the program on facebook and stuck with it ever since. He said he is learning so much and has improved his Tibetan language tremendously, and recommends the program to all having the desire to improve their Tibetan language.
