Interview with three participants of the just-concluded Tibet Lobby Day - Lhakpa Dolma from Washington State, Kalsang Dorjee from Utah, and Dhondup Tsering from California. All three of them said that this is their first time participating in the Tibet Lobby day, organized by the International Campaign for Tibet. Dolma said that she was quite nervous in the beginning, but the training provided by ICT and the guidance of fellow participants helped overcome that, and enjoyed lobbying for Tibet. Dorjee too enjoyed being on the hill for two days and said that he is impressed by the way the United States Congressional offices treated them. Dhondup said he gained much experience, and would recommend other young Tibetans to be more active and take advantage of such opportunities available in this free country.
