Tibetans in Australia, led by the Australia Tibet Council, concluded a successful lobby coordinated for Tibet with the Australian Parliamentarians, where they met over 42 MPs and Senators and briefed them about the situation inside Tibet and the need for further support for Tibet. Similarly, four major Tibetan NGOs based in India concluded two successful advocacy campaigns with the Indian politicians in Delhi. Tibetans in Canada have also been conducting an intensive lobby with the Canadian MPs and Senators for the past few days and has not been concluded yet. Table Talk invites Kyinzom Dhondue, Media and Government Relations Coordinator of Australian Tibet Council, Ugen Batetsang, Regional Head of SFT Canada, Nyima Lhamo, Secretary of Tibetan Women’s Association to discuss the lobbying efforts in their respective places.
