Prospect of raising Tibetan issues at the UN Human Rights Council

Interview with Dhardon Sharling, a young Tibetan parliamentarian who was one of the keynote speakers at the 6th Geneva Summit for Human Rights and Democracy, February 25, 2014. Sharling said that during the deliberations at the Canadian Commission in Geneva, and at the Geneva Summit for Human Rights and Democracy, she had the opportunity to reiterate and elaborate on the deteriorating human rights situation in Tibet. She said she is optimistic that the Tibet issue will be raised during the upcoming session of the UN Human Rights Council, that begins in Geneva on March 3, when China will have to report on their UN review of last year.
