Non-violence is powerful and effective, says Workshop participants
Interview with Tenzin Jigme of International Tibet Support Group Network, and Lobsang Yangtso, a Ph.d candidate in JNU, Delhi, India, on the on-going week long (June 16-22) workshop on Non-violent Conflict Resolutions at the Fletcher Summer Institute in Boston. The workshop is attended by scholars, activists, and educators from over thirty countries. Jigme and Yangtso are the only two Tibetan participants. When asked about the significance of the workshop, Jigme says it highlights the strength and effectiveness of Non-Violence, while Yangtso says she cannot over-emphasize the importance of educated activists.
