Growing Tibetan Interracial or Interethnic Marriages: Boon or Bane?
The number of Tibetans marrying non-Tibetans are increasing in Tibet and in exile. Trends of Tibetans marrying Han Chinese or Chinese Muslims are especially visible in the major Tibetan towns and cities. Whereas in exile communities, there is a prevalent and a pronounced number of Tibetan youngsters marrying westerners.
