Tenzin Dolma Contemporary Tibetan Singer

Tenzin Dolma, born in Nepal and raised in Tibet moved to New York City with her family at the young age of 9, where she started performing Tibetan songs. Dolma released her debut album titled, Lhakar' in March of this year to promote Tibetan culture and language through music.She tells VOA that she is grateful for the collaborative effort and assistance provided by Tibetan artists such as Tsering Gyurmey in producing her recently released single.
