After his tour of Italy and Kalachakra teachings in Ladakh for the last six weeks, the Dalai Lama returned to Dharamsala, his exile seat, on July 21, 2014.
Since it was reported in some Indian media about the Dalai Lama being hospitalized in New Delhi, VOA Tibetan Service's Tenzin Sangmo met with Chhime Rigzin, the Secretary at the Private Office to learn about his health. Rigzin said that "During the last three days in Delhi, the Dalai Lama met with dignitaries of India and Chinese followers. Other than that, he has not been out of his hotel and never been hospitalized."
He reassured that the Dalai Lama's future programs remains unchanged, and further added that the well wishers of the Dalai Lama and Tibet need not to worry.
