The Library of Tibetan Works and Archives based in Dharamsala, North India has organized a two-month intensive course for youth on Tibetan Language and Culture called Tibetologist Workshop starting April 28, 2014.
The program covers Tibetan language, history, literature, and religion for 25 youth between the age of 18 and 30.
Naga Sangay Tendar, Head of the Culture Research Department of LTWA said that the aim of this program is to bring out youth who value the Tibetan language and culture, and spread it among his peers.
LTWA provides lodging and food along with allowances for the needy students.
The participants includes 23 Tibetans, One Ladakhi, and One Malaysian.
