Abdul Majid Rabsel: Imam of Tibetan Muslims in Srinagar

Abdul Majid's late father, Amid Ulha Rabsel, started serving the Tibetan government in 1949, and was later accused of and imprisoned for aiding in the Dalai Lama’s escape to India. He died a prisoner in 1968. Majid describes the events surrounding his father's detention, the efforts made by him and his family to win their father’s release, and the general difficulties and challenges faced by Tibetan Muslims since the fall of Tibet.
