Kunchok Sonam, an 18 year old Tibetan monk of Song-tsang Monastery has succumbed to self-immolation outside his monastery in Dzoge county of Ngaba prefecture around 8:40 am on July 20, 2013 raising the toll of known self-immolators to 120.

Kunchok Sonam is survived by his father Sonam Palden and mother Lantuk.
