Dalai Lama Returns to Dharamsala after his Australia and New Zealand visit

The Dalai Lama has returned to Dharamsala, his residence in exile in northern India, on June 24, after two weeks of visit to Australia and New Zealand.

In an interview given to VOA, Chime Rigzin, secretary of the Dalai Lama has said that during the Dalai Lama’s two weeks visit to Australia and New Zealand, he toured seven cities and gave public teachings to people from various social, cultural, and religious backgrounds. The Dalai Lama also met with the Parliamentarians of the two countries, where he addressed the current situation inside Tibet.

The Dalai Lama will be giving two days teaching to the Tibetan youth in Dharamsala, starting June 27, 2013.
