The Dalai Lama today left Dharamsala for a ten-day Europe tour to give a series of public talks and teachings.
The Tibetan spiritual leader will first visit South Tyrol in Italy where he will deliver a public talk in Palatrento on Wednesday.
The Dalai Lama will then visit Switzerland to give Buddhist teachings and a public talk on Ethics Beyond Religions at the Forum Fribourg. He is scheduled to take part in a science and humanism exchange forum on Living and Dying In Peace at the University of Lausanne and will give a talk on Towards a Sustainable Future at the University of Bern from April 15-16.
The 77-year-old Buddhist leader will conclude his Europe visit at United Kingdom where he will meet with kids at the Children in Crossfire and deliver an address at the Culture of Compassion in association with Bright Brand New Day next Thursday. The Dalai Lama will give a talk at the Global Scholars Symposium to discuss Non-Violence for Conflict Resolution and another talk at St. John's College of Cambridge University on April 19-20.
