Tibetan Parliament led Worldwide Flame of Truth relay concluded in the Indian capital New Delhi today on the Universal Human Rights Day. The torch relay was lauched in Dharamshala on July 6 and travelled to 30 countries.

More than 2000 people attended the closing ceremony at Jantar Mantar. The chief guest of the closing ceremony, BJP general secretary Shri J.P. Nadda, affirmed the support of BJP to the Tibetan cause.

"To this campaign, BJP has participated and we support you." Shri Nadda said.

The spokesperson of BJP, Shri Bilbir Punj, also addressed the gathering and shouted slogans in support for Tibet.

Mr. Karma Yeshi, secretary of the flame of truth relay committee gave a detailed introduction of the campaign and thanked all the Tibet Support Groups in India and abroad.

Earlier, members of the flame of truth relay committee submitted a memorandum along with 351000 sigatures collected during the campaign compiled in book form numbering 119 books to the UN information center in New Delhi.

"They have accepted the memorandum with collection of signatures, but we were not allowed to take picture." Mr. Pema Jungney, the president of the relay committee.

Before the closing ceremony of the Flame of Truth Relay, a solidarity march was held from Ramlila Maidan to Jantar Mantar.
