Tsering Topgyal: Photojournalist

Born in Tibet and educated in India, Tsering Topgyal graduated from Symbiosis college of Arts and Commerce in Pune, and works as an AP photojournalist in New Delhi. Topgyal’s work has been featured in major publications such as the New York Times, The Guardian, Time, amongst others. He tells VOA that while it’s not absolutely necessary to have a degree to become a photojournalist, one must have a very keen interest in the field.
