The Dalai Lama gave Tsongkhapa's Concise Stages of the Path to Enlightenment (lamrim dudon), and Geshe Langri Thangpa's 8 Verses of Training the Mind (lojong tsik gyema) to a large gathering in the mountain town of Koyasan at the Koyasan Monastery, Wakayama, Japan on April 13, 2014.

He gave an introduction to Buddhism and then dwelt on Tsongkhapa’s teaching.

This year's visit marks the Dalai Lama’s 20th visit to Japan.

The Dalai Lama, who is currently on a two week visit of Japan, is scheduled to confer the Vairocana-abhisambodhi initiation at the Koyasan Monastery on April 14, 2014
