According to the video footage and information received from Tibet, a Tibetan man was wrestled to the ground and arrested by a large group of policemen after carrying out a peaceful solitary protest on the streets of Kardze in the Tibetan Kham region on November 27, 2015.
Jampa Sangye, 29, a resident of Dado Township’s Rabkar village, carried out a peaceful protest in Kardze’s main market.The footage which has surfaced the net shows Sangye throwing small prayer leaflets in the air and calling for the Dalai Lama’s long life.
His current situation or whereabouts remains unknown.
