The Dalai Lama concluded a three-day teaching to his South East Asian followers at the main temple of Tsug-Lag-Khang, Dharamsala, northern India on September 26, 2014.

The Dalai Lama advised his followers from over 60 countries to refrain from harming others if one cannot help them, which he said was not religion but based on practicality. The talk was followed by a question and answer session with the 800 followers from South East Asia.

The Dalai Lama is later scheduled to attend a Noble Laureates gathering in Dharamsala on October 2, 2014 to mark the 25th anniversary of conferment of Nobel Peace Prize in 1989 for his efforts towards the struggle of the liberation of Tibet through peaceful resolutions.

Nobel laureates Jody Williams from the United States, Shirin Ebadi from Iran, and Leyman Gbowee from Liberia are also expected to participate in the program organized by the Central Tibetan Administration.

A four-day teaching to Taiwanese audience from October 6, 2014 will follow the nobel gathering, before the Dalai Lama departs for his North America tour.
