Tibetans gathered at Samyeling Tibetan Colony, Majnu Tilla, Delhi to celebrate the 54th Tibetan Democracy Day on September 2, 2014.

Chief guest of the function, Kalon Dolma Gyari cautioned the danger of Tibetan unity being destoryed by certain people in the name of religious freedom. "In the name of a deity, certain Tibetans protest the Dalai Lama which in reality they should raise these issues to the Chinese. They are trying to destroy our unity," said Dolma Gyari.

Kasur Tempa Tsering, the representative of the Dalai Lama, also spoke on the increasing number protests during Dalai Lama's Europe and other foreign countries visit. "It hurts all of us. A protest being made against His Holiness. We should know who they are. They should not be let like that," he added.

Kasur Tempa Tsering also advised the Tibetans gathered there to not burn the Chinese national flag and effigy of Chinese President while protesting during his upcoming visit to India.
