Tibetan Justice Commission Holds 4th General Meeting


The Tibetan Justice Comission holds a two day general meeting pertaining the legal issues in the exile Tibetan community in Dharamsala, north India on August 21, 2014.

The meeting is attended by over twenty justice commissioners and secretaries of the justice commission.

During the opening function, Deputy Speaker, Khenpo Sonam Tenphel inaugurated the new website of Tibetan Supreme Justice Comission, which contains information on laws with rules and regulations. He also applauded the work done by the comissioners thus far, and urged them to continue setting a good example for the Tibetans.

Mr. Ngawang Phegey, The Supreme Justice Commissioner spoke about the legal and administrative changes that took place in the last five years, and the main issues which needs to be discussed during the two day meeting.

The last general meeting was held in November of 2005.
