Dharamsala Holds Special Prayer for Self-immolators

Today the Central Tibetan Administration held a special prayer service for all the Tibetans who have sacrificed their life for freedom in Tibet.

The prayer service was presided  over  by Tromdok Rinpoche, the abbot of Namgyal Monastery,  and was attended by more than thousand people including the heads of the exile administration.

Speaking at the prayer session, Dolma Gyari, Minister for home department, said that the prayer is part of worldwide prayers

Kalon Gyari Dolma  said that China's allegation against the exile administration and the  Dalai Lama,    as inciting  the self-immolations in Tibet  is totally  baseless, saying, “Chinese officials are welcome to send  an  investigation team to Dharamsala.” She also urged China to allow independent fact finding teams from International bodies to go inside Tibet to investigate the true situation in Tibet.

As self-immolation toll reaches 104, CTA called on the International community for concrete  support for  Tibetans and for pressure on China to solve the worsening  crisis in Tibet.
