Sikyong Lobsang Sangay led the interfaith prayer and peace procession from Rajghat to Jantar Mantar on the second day of the Tibetan People's Solidarity Campaign.

More than 7000 Tibetans from across India joined the public procession covering 4.5 km from Rajghat to Jantar Mantar. Representatives of major world religious traditions gathered at Rajghat and recited prayers for Tibetans in Tibet.

"It is for the first time that all the members of Kashag (cabinet) and Chitue (parliament) have openly came out to protest the Chinese brutal repressions in Tibet," said Monlam Tharthin, media coordinator of the campaign.
