Thousands, including heads of all Tibetan religious sects gathered at Tsuk-lag-khang monastery today to offer the Dalai Lama a life long offering. Sakya Trizin recited the offering prayers urging the Tibetan spiritual leader to lead Tibetans for this and the coming lives.
Head of the Tibetan Administration-in-exile Lobsang Sangay and Parliament Speaker Penpa Tsering offered the mandala.
In an interview, Mr. Sangay told VOA that he on behalf of all the Tibetans thanked the Dalai Lama for his kindness and prayed for his long life.
In the afternoon, Special meeting concluded with 29 points resolutions regarding campaigns by Tibetans in Tibetan community and internationally. Mr. Sangay said he was satistifed with the meeting
and promised to implement the resolutions reached. The 4-day-special meeting concluded today.
