Peter Navarro's movie argues that American people have lost their jobs and the economy has worsened after China joined the World Trade Organization. His movie urges Americans to stop purchasing made-in-China products and to elect a president who will “crackdown on China’s illegal trade practices.” Peter told VOA Tibetan that he wants a government who can “relink” the human rights in China and Tibet to the trade practices of China. The film was screened in Washington DC on Saturday at the Laogai Research Foundation. A representative of the foundation told Tibet in Review that made-in-China products also include the goods manufactured by forced prison labors, including Tibetan political prisoners. Interview with Peter Navarro, the film maker and author; Gather Rinpoche, representative of Laogai Foundation who sponsored to show the movie in DC and Ngawang Sangdrol, a former Tibetan political prisoner.
