As part of a larger lobby efforts to reach all the offices of the U.S. Senators and Representatives, membersof the D.C. area Regional Tibetan Youth Congress ( RTYC) has undertaken its second lobby campaign in the U.S. capitol hill, where they met the staff of fifteen U.S senators and twenty representatives and informed them of the latest situation inside Tibet and the need for increased support from U.S. Congress on Tibet related issues. They have submitted a four point proposal to the congressional offices and senators which calls for more U.S support for the early resumption of dialogue between the representatives of Dalai Lama and the Chinese government and the release of all political prisoners in Tibet. This is the second such lobby campaign undertaken by RTYC and they plan do many more throughout the year.
