Interview with Chemi Dolkar from Connecticut and Tenzin Dechen from Washington. D.C. Dolkar had initiated the effort to encourage and recruit other youth who were eager to learn or brush up their skills in Tibetan language: speaking, reading, and  writing. The program is three years old. Dolkar said that the program is participated by about 20 young people from the U.S, Italy, Australia, and India. The program takes place every Saturday morning, online using latest apps, with their teacher based in NYC. Tenzin Dechen, who is also a participant, said that he learned about the program from facebook and has stuck with it ever since. He said the program has helped him improve his Tibetan language tremendously, and recommends the program to all who want to improve their Tibetan language skills.
