Dharamsala will hold the 2012 International Film Festival from November 1-4, well-known actor Kabir Bedi announced at a press conference in Delhi on Thursday.

Filmmakers Tenzing Sonam and Ritu Sarin of White Crane Arts & Media, who conceptualised the event said the festival will show 27 feature films, shorts and documentaries, curated from the best of contemporary independent films from across the world. Two films related to Tibetan themes will be shown during the festival.

Many filmmakers and artists are expected to reach Dharamsala during the festival. Celebrated American filmmakers like Jennifer Fox, acclaimed Indian filmmakers Hansal Mehta, Umesh Kulkarni and many others from Israel, Egypt, Malaysia etc., are expected to participate during the festival.
