China Seizes TVs, Satellite Equipment in Tibetan Area

Qinghai Authorities Dismantle Tibetans Satellite TV Receiver Chinese authorities in Malho (Chinese:Huangnan, Qinghai) have launched an operation to seize satellite broadcast receiving equipment from Tibetan homes and institutions. Authorities warn that satellite TV receivers may not be sold and installed without the license of the radio and television department.
