The 13th summer camp organized by the Tibetan Children's Village in Dharamsala, which was attended by 60 students from six western countries concluded with a mock Losar (Tibetan New Year) celebration on August 11, 2016.
Mr. Lekshay Tenpa, General Secretary and Mr. Sonam Sichoe, Education Director of TCV urged the students to continue utilizing the lessons learned within the last five weeks. The parents of the children were also asked to take special interest and support their children's effort in speaking Tibetan.
Anak Tsetan, one of the few parents who accompanied the kids throughout the program shared his views on the program and said, 'Moral education should also be added as a subject.'
