ཐད་ཀར་ཕབ་ལེན་གྱི་དྲ་འབྲེལ།

The Dalai Lama completed 12-day Kalachakra initiations in Leh, Ladakh, north India attended by over 150 thousand devotees from different parts of the world on July 12, 2014.

On the last day of the Kalacakra initiations, he urged the heads of the monastic institutions who have come to attend the initiations to revise the present monastic rules and regulations according to change of time as there are many distractions in this age of modern technology that may hamper the monastic studies.

The Dalai Lama also urged the monastic institutions not to indulge in politics, and the people of Ladakh to study Tibetan language if they want to study the words of Buddha [Kangyur] and treatises written by Indian Pandits [Tangyur] which are all in Tibetan.
